Golden, CO Front-line Leaders TPM Workshop

Course Description
A practical workshop over 5 x ½ days for Golden based front line leaders, supervisors, maintenance and engineers who want to learn how to apply TPM principles in the workplace and how to start coaching their team to take the first steps in their TPM journey. As part of the workshop all learners will be expected to participate in a teach back.
Course Learning Outcomes
To assist front line leaders, maintenance and engineering personnel to understand, apply and educate their team on the concept of TPM, how to sustain, and why TPM is an important tool for the future of GMC North / East / South. Learners will be expected to practice and mirror the behaviors that they need to apply in the workplace, demonstrating ownership of their TPM journey.
Eligibility
CoorsTek Team Leads or above may enroll. All other CoorsTek employees should confirm with their leader if they should attend. This is an in person event in Golden, CO
Coaching Foundations

Class Overview
This interactive course equips people leaders with the foundations of effective leadership coaching. Participants explore how trust drives performance, adopt a coaching mindset, and practice core coaching skills: empathic listening, powerful questioning, and clear feedback. Using a practical coaching conversation model and playbook, leaders learn how to engage employees, develop capability, remove obstacles, and turn everyday conversations into meaningful coaching moments that drive results.
This in-person class runs for five hours, one time at CoorsTek Academy.
Class Learning Objectives
- Drive improvements in at least one measurable team outcome within 60 days by applying two trust-building behaviors while leading teams.
- Listen empathetically and ask open questions weekly to resolve reoccurring issues or challenges.
- Give clear, timely feedback using SBI within 48 hours of noticing a coaching opportunity.
- Hold a purposeful one-on-one to drive engagement, growth, and performance using coaching tools with an employee who needs help in these areas.
Eligibility
This course is intended for those who currently supervise others or are anticipating a leadership move in the next six months.
Train-the-Trainer

Course Overview
The CoorsTek Train‑the‑Trainer course equips on‑the‑job trainers with practical tools to plan, deliver, and adapt effective training in real work environments. Participants practice proven instructional techniques, explore different learning styles, and apply structured methods for showing tasks, checking understanding, and giving feedback. The course blends interactive classroom activities, case studies, guided practice, and take‑home assignments, with opportunities for reflection, peer collaboration, and personalized feedback to support confident, consistent training on the job.
The in-class learning lasts for 3 hours, one time at CoorsTek Academy.
